RAISING MONEY FOR HAYLEY’S HEROES 

Hayley’s Heroes raises money for young adults with cancer, giving them and their families a helping hand when they need it most. The charity is named after Hayley Martin who passed away from bowel cancer at the age of 31. Wanting to create special memories for Hayley and her young son, during her treatment Hayley’s friends held a series of fundraisers and sporting events and became known as ‘Hayley’s Heroes’. At the insistence of Hayley, the money raised was donated to the oncology ward at Maidstone hospital where she later opened a cancer care room called ‘Hayley’s Room’ – aimed at giving patients somewhere to relax before and after treatment. Hayley’s Heroes’ became a registered charity when she passed in 2016 and is run by her friends and family to continue the work that she started.

Hayley’s Heroes is a charity especially close to our hearts as our Group Training and Qualifications Manager at Prime Emma Stafford was Hayley’s cousin and has subsequently become a trustee for the charity.

ABOUT THE EVENT

This event is a great opportunity to network with peers in the industry whilst supporting a very worthy, local charity. The event will be held at the Weald of Kent Golf course, a  beautifully maintained 18 hole parkland golf course and hotel set in the heart of the Kent countryside. Guests will enjoy a bacon sandwich and hot drink on arrival followed by a shotgun start Team Stableford competition, and a number of individual events throughout the day (Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin, Beat the Pro (Hannah Bowen) and more.  Following the golf, attendees will enjoy a 2-course dinner, prize giving, live auction and raffle.

COSTINGS

  • Team of 4 golf and evening = £320
  • Individual ticket golf and evening = £80
  • Evening ticket only = £40
  • Buggy hire = £35 (allocated on a first come first served basis)
  • Entry for events during the day e.g. Beat the Pro and Nearest to the Pin will be purchasable on arrival

TIMINGS

8am start with bacon rolls and hot drink on arrival, competition will have a shotgun start of 10am. Dinner will be served at around 4pm. Exact timings TBC nearer the time.

HOTEL ROOMS

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

  • Hole sponsors – You can sponsor a hole for £50 and have your company logo and contact details displayed at your chosen tee box. The sponsor will also receive pre and post-event mentions on appropriate social media channels and will have their details displayed on a scrolling presentation in the clubhouse throughout the day.
  • Nearest the pin – We are also looking for sponsors for our 4 nearest the pin competitions.  We will be asking for a sponsorship of £50.00 plus the donation of a reasonable prize.
  • Headline sponsors (Auction items) – If you are able to donate a item for our live auction please let us know – examples of items could include sports memorabilia, dinner vouchers or a night’s hotel stay.  Those donating Auction prizes will become headline sponsors for the event.
